Cara + Paul ::: Love Comes So Naturally ::: Carver, MA

This summer has already been an Amazing Whirlwind.  I'm only starting to realize all that has happened so far. I've met some wonderful people, I've worked with  photographers who have been inspirational and motivational and I've been thrown into some interesting photographic challenges. This Saturday's Wedding was a combination of it all... The details and do it yourself items of Cara and Paul's wedding captured many people's attention. Additionally, the landscape and natural beauty of the couple as well as the location, were undeniably perfect. And what struck me most was just how "at ease" the couple was together and with their loved ones. As someone who is looking thru the lens at what is unfolding, you can just tell when a couple has put together touches of themselves to express their love....

As many of you may have realized I love taking photos of the wedding rings. Cara's ring was so unique I had a hard time letting it go.... This fabric is from a chair in her Parent's home, and passed down from her grandmother, who was sitting in the matching armchair next to this one. I hope they find this to be a lovely tribute to the passage of time like I do.

Cara and Paul included creatures of all sizes and habitats...

When I connected up with Paul there was no doubt that the pond was going to be a backdrop fitting for him and his groomsmen. And the color theme was peacock feathers.... the bridesmaids dresses and flowers oozed color and 'pop'...

And look how beautiful Cara is in the dress her mother made and look how proud her father is to be presenting her to her future husband...

(and as a side note... I was perched in the bushes to get these shots... there is nothing I won't do to get in there to ensure every angle is covered!)

Personality was lurking around every corner!

The Best Man's speech was a winner...

And how great is this... Bocce, Croquet and Horseshoes were available...

And as the sun started to set, the property started to show it's beauty even more....

Congratulations Cara & Paul!  Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!

Thank you also, Barbara Doucette Photography, we are partners in crime!
