This year has been full of Weddings. I have had the opportunity of shooting along side some very creative people and this wedding was no exception. When I do not have a gig of my own booked I am more than happy to second shoot for other photographers. Some shy away from announcing this is what they do, but for me it's a great honor that people in my field inquire on my availability to shoot with them. As I fill my schedule more and more with my own clients, I still relish in a good second shooting event. I'm grateful to be a part of a network of amazing colleagues that share ideas and want to collaborate!
This wedding was headed by Jaime, Owner and Photographer, at Jamie R. Doyle Photography.
After some initial information about Katie & Chris I was more than excited to meet them. I started my day with Chris at the Sea Crest Hotel in North Falmouth. This location has a lovely beachy feel!
It's often the Bride and her details that are highlighted on the wedding day but it should not be forgotten that the Groom can personalize his adornments as well. Not only were Chris's cufflinks personal but, the boutonniere also consisted of herbs such as rosemary. Chef's love herbs right?
In addition, Katie sent over a package (I love the wrapping paper) that included some monogrammed kerchiefs and this "worry doll", which Chris was instructed to pin on himself for the day. It was such a cute little item that I had never heard of before. Katie was going to be wearing a matching one throughout the day. Adorable!
The day moved forward and this is where I met up with Katie and her dad at the chapel.
And I absolutely love the look that Chris is giving Katie in the photo below. LOVE.
And the cake was beautiful! And apparently delicious! ha. Chris went in for seconds immediately!
And I would like to again thank Jamie R. Doyle Photography for the chance to work with her and her lovely clients.
